Eastern Equity Pty Ltd is the largest privately owned Non-Bank Commercial Finance provider in South Australia. Eastern Equity provides specialist services relating to Commercial Property Finance, Residential Property Finance, Lo-Doc Finance, Business Finance, Asset and Hire Purchase Finance, as well as Trustee and Private Investor Mortgage Funds.
Eastern Equity Pty Ltd was founded by Ian Edwards, the Managing Director, in 1992, as an alternative financier for commercial property buyers and for business people. At the time of the formation, business people had few choices other than the banks, and with the advent of a centralisation policy for traditional business lenders, an opportunity was created for Eastern Equity to play the role of the borrower's advocate to an even greater extent. Subsequent bank branch closures further reinforced the philosophy.
A changing marketplace, together with the growth of the private sector and non-institutional lenders, has provided Eastern Equity with a greater product choice for clients. Now we work closely with other professionals in commerce and industry, further enhancing the specialist advice services required for the discerning client.
In August, 2005 Eastern Equity Home Loans was established, and today, Eastern Equity has a staff complement numbering over 25. Our Head Office is based in Adelaide, and Eastern Equity is represented Australia-Wide.
Since 1992, Eastern Equity has grown in two other significant ways. Firstly, we have developed a proven system for processing finance applications, which expedites loan approvals for clients. Secondly, accreditation has been gained with all key Lenders, some of which are very exclusive Agency Agreements. This has resulted in strong long-term relationships, which Lenders increasingly relying on our banking and finance acumen.
